My favorite tool - FRANZIS HDR Professional Software

Lots of folks ask how I get such stunning photos. My secret is FRANZIS HDR Professional Software. It does a fantastic job of bring out the hidden beauty.

My process is to take (almost) too many pictures when at a location. Once loaded into the computer I go through them all deleting bad shots, deciding between similar shots, some cropping as needed. Once that first filtering has been done, I go directly to FRANZIS HDR. Depending on the variety of shots I'll either load them one at a time, or if similar load them for batch processing. There are extensive pre-sets and I've selected 5 as my 'favorites' and I start there. The results are astounding. Nearly every photo on this site has been run through the FRANZIS HDR.

Since I'm an amateur, I seldom bracket as the program will do that for me. My Sony a7R II has a bracketing feature, but it's just not needed. When I got the camera I searched for HDR Software, downloaded some free ones, purchased Aurora HDR and then FRANZIS HDR. I find FRANZIs easier to use and I like the presets better. I've had a couple of questions and they have responded quickly. Note that there are versions for multiple languages. I have the English version and a few German menus do appear but that's no problem.

Some examples:

Look in the FRANZIS HDR Comparison Portfolio for examples. It will be easy to tell pre- from post.

They have other products as well, and I own several. Here's how to reach them: https://www.projects-software.com

HDR is fun, and this company makes it easy.
